Last Sunday, I attended a birthday party for my brother-in-law and the weather was spectacular. I ventured off from the crowd to take snapshots of bits and pieces of the backyard. At the corner, I found a little house that Senior built, which was absolutely adorable! It doesn’t have an era or style tied to it, but it was still something to admire. My latest shopping splurge at Goodwill and Nordstrom Rack. I’m officially a vintage shopper now and I think I’m addicted. Looking to redesign the tan sheath dress to make it look more of an a-line on the top, thank goodness for growing up with a mother who never failed to teach me everything she knew in her seamstress/dress-making career.

Yesterday, I had the best 4th of July. I celebrated my 8 year anniversary with my best friend, Jerry (yes, we have a friendship anniversary). We got together with his siblings and his friends and spent the whole day at Huntington Beach, where we played beach volleyball, walked around, swam, ate foods like empanadas and pizza, did some boogie boarding and enjoyed excellent company.
