Had a little CSA ladies only get together on Sunday at my place. I need more social events like these where I have the opportunity to whip up some creativity in the kitchen.
Here’s what was served:
- Honeydew, Cantoloupe and Watermelon skewer drizzled in sweetened Coconut milk
- Caramel Apple bites
- Crescent rolls filled with Broccoli and Cheddar
- Nonalcoholic Peach tea sparkler
- Pate with Swiss cheese on Baguette slices
- Heart-shaped Watermelons
What was even better was that Mariah and Tina helped me put together these little finger foods. We watched Boys Before Flower, a couple of wedding shows and played catch up. We’re holding each other accountable for hosting a bi-monthly all ladies get together. The next one will be held at Tina’s with the main course being panini sandwiches. I’ll be making cupcakes and Mariah will be making the drink. Can’t wait, I’ve already been looking up recipes!
